Persons with a valid Massachusetts LTC or a formerly issued and valid Class A LTC are allowed to concealed and open carry in places that are not prohibited. Prohibited cases are:
◾ schools, colleges or universities;
◾ courthouses;
◾ airports;
◾ Logan Airport security zone;
◾ while operating an off-highway vehicle such as an ATV; and
◾ places prohibited by federal law
◾ a loaded rifle or shotgun may not be transported on any public way even with a Firearm Identification Card (FID) or LTC.
